Thank you for visiting the Car Wash Professor. This site is the result of 30 years of professional detailing. I have spent years washing bikes, trucks, exotic cars, even the original Air Force One, used by President John F Kennedy. I trained with elite detailers from across the country and Canada. However, my true calling and background is elementary education (28 years). Thus, I have combined the two professions to create a place where you can learn how to wash and protect your vehicle in Santa Barbara and beyond in the comfort of your garage, carport, or parking area.

With the current drought here in CA, and other states, it is imperative that car owners reduce the use of water. Coincidentally, the method for caring for my vehicle’s paint, uses about 90% less water than a traditional car wash, but also provides a superior wash and wax that is scratch free. This is simply because the towels, method, and soy-based polymer liquid used, provides the necessary formula to clean and protect paint with less chance of marring.
